How to request deletion

In AutoTrader PK or AutoTrader Dealer, open Account, then Account settings, and choose Delete account. You can also open the contact form and choose an account or privacy request. We may verify account ownership before completing the request.

• Include only information needed to identify your account.

What we delete

After verification, we delete or anonymize eligible account profile data, saved preferences, listings owned by your account, and communication preferences connected to your account.

App feedback after deletion

When account deletion completes, feedback messages and replies in those feedback conversations, and identifying account or app context, are anonymized. Minimal report category, app/version and status information, any recorded fix version, and support audit history may be retained.

Dealer login and business records

Deleting a dealer login removes that login and its dealership access. It does not automatically delete organization-owned stock or sales records, customer and buyer details, payment ledgers, or uploaded business documents. These records are managed separately from the login. For questions or requests about retained business records, open the contact form using the link below.

What may be retained

Some records may be retained when required for fraud prevention, abuse investigations, dispute handling, financial records, legal obligations, security logs, or backup recovery windows. Financial records can include orders and payment-proof files. Deleting your login does not automatically erase those files.

Timing

We aim to complete a verified deletion request within 30 days. We will explain if identity verification, an active dispute, fraud review, legal retention, or account-ownership transfer requires more time.
