Who operates AutoTrader Pakistan
AutoTrader Pakistan and autotrader.pk are owned and operated by Ai SoftLogic LLC. Ai SoftLogic LLC is responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
Information we collect
We may collect account details, phone numbers, email addresses, selected city, searches, listing and stock information, photos, voice-note audio or transcripts, buyer and seller messages, support requests, device or app identifiers, product use, crash data, performance data, and communication delivery metadata.
Dealer records and documents
When dealers use private stock and sales tools, AutoTrader may process registered-owner and buyer identity numbers, contact details and addresses; buyer organizations; sale information; payment and refund amounts, methods, references and clearance status; and PDF or photo documents uploaded by dealers. We use these records to support dealer stock, sales, payment recording and document workflows. Recorded payments describe transactions outside the app; entering a record does not transfer money.
App feedback
If you send feedback from AutoTrader PK or AutoTrader Dealer, we store your report category, message and app details: which app, iOS or Android, installed version and build, language, and whether you use a phone or tablet. The report is linked to your account and, for Dealer feedback, your dealership. We use it to investigate problems and respond through Account Support. Feedback messages and report identifiers are not included in analytics events.
How we use information
We use this information to create and manage accounts, publish listings, send verification codes, route buyer and seller messages, prevent abuse, improve service quality, and respond to support or legal requests.
Mobile photos and device security
Selected photos may be uploaded for listings and sent through AutoTrader photo-cleaning services, which can create a cleaned version while retaining the original under our media and safety controls. Selected photos may contain embedded capture location, including precise GPS coordinates, capture time and device details. This metadata may remain in retained originals. AutoTrader does not continuously monitor your device location. Face ID and fingerprint templates stay on your device; AutoTrader receives only whether the device approved local account unlock.
Analytics and diagnostics
When enabled for a released app, Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics may process app interactions, account or app identifiers, crash reports, and diagnostics so we can find errors and improve speed and reliability. We do not use this data to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Verification, service messages and optional offers
For WhatsApp verification, AutoTrader normally asks you to send a prepared message or scan a QR code. Sending that message only verifies your phone number; it does not subscribe you to marketing. An operator can instead enable one time-limited WhatsApp security code. AutoTrader uses email, WhatsApp and SMS for verification and necessary transactional service messages. Promotional emails or WhatsApp offers, including ad-promotion suggestions, require a separately recorded, explicit opt-in for that channel. You can withdraw that opt-in through your account communication preferences. If SMS recovery is explicitly enabled and requested, we share only the minimum delivery data needed with the SMS provider.
Data sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share limited data with service providers, payment or messaging providers, hosting and analytics vendors, or authorities where required by law.
Your choices
You can change communication preferences, contact support, or start account deletion inside the AutoTrader mobile app or from our data-deletion page. Some records may be retained where needed for security, fraud prevention, dispute handling, tax, legal obligations, or a limited backup recovery period.
